Impulse brand is well known in Europe and is being sold all over the world for over 10 years. Hydraulic breakers go through minimum of 2 years of testing in the harshest climates (both hot and cold) to remove deficiencies before they are sold to public locally. After 2-3 additional years of local operations and testing the breakers are allowed to be exported to other countries by the manufacturer.

There are two types of Impulse hydraulic breakers exported to Canadian market. Piston style hydraulic breakers, models 100, 120 and 150 are for machinery which have base weight from 2000 lbs to 22000 lbs and membrane style hydraulic breakers for machinery weight 19800 lbs - 242500 lbs. Piston breakers incorporate many advanced technologies which eliminate issues which exist in other brands, such as unibody construction (removing tie rods), the piston goes through diamond bond process during manufacturing (hardest the steel making it last much longer and be more resistant to wear). The piston is protected by a sleeve which protects the breaker piston channel from wear. The sleeve is replaceable and the breaker retains 100% performance as per the manufacturer specifications. Hydraulic breaker body is reinforced with Hardox or equivalent steel in places most susceptible to damage during heavy operation. Much less down force is required to start operation, which allows for much easier positioning and operation.

Membrane style hydraulic breakers benefits are: more impact force, operation can start without any down force. Auto greasing is a standard option on all Impulse EVO class membrane breakers. Optional underwater operation modification can be ordered. Hydraulic breaker body is reinforced with Hardox or equivalent steel in places most susceptible to damage during heavy operation.
